Every successful journey (travel, life, business) has many inflection points - point where a yes kept things going when a no would have stopped progress in its tracks.
It’s a neglected skill... saying yes.
Especially since most of us live in a no world surrounded by no people.
People often talk about “Yes men” as a critical description of other people who blindly follow orders.
Obviously yes doesn’t mean unthinking compliance... but the world we live in largely equates thinking things through with saying no.
Here’s to yes. It has served me well.
